Alviras first black outfit

I know that many expected me to dress Alvira in all black. In reality I haven’t bought a single black item to her except her Mickey Mouse body that she had as a newborn but it’s actually dark grey.

Look how tiny she was compared to that bottle when we left the hospital!

She is still small but has grown a lot. And today she is actually wearing her first black outfit. We got it as a gift from my kind colleagues. 🖤

Apparently she was super excited and thought it was fun to dress like her mummy. I like the message on the body and it felt as she was agreeing.

Why have I not bought all black clothes to my baby? Alvira is a child and not an accessory or doll of mine. Besides, although I personally tend to wear mostly black I love colours. In fact, believe it or not, my favourite colour isn’t black it’s blue 💙

A child should be aloud to be a child for as long as possible and therefore I don’t want to force her into a grownup style. I think colour is an important part of childrens development. Alvira will eventually evolve her own personal taste and preference.

Here is a video of Alvira that I uploaded on my instagram:

    1. Ja men precis!
